Cignal Digital TV is the newest subscription-based Direct-To-Home (DTH) satellite television service provider in the Philippines. Cignal is owned by MediaScape, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. under the PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund

For subscribers to receive Cignal broadcasts, they must acquire upon subscription the satellite dish antenna, remote control, and the set top box (Integrated Receiver-Decoder). Cignal’s prepaid electronic loading system, is powered by Smart Communications, Inc., making it convenient for subscribers to continuously enjoy Cignal’s services via over-the-air loading

THE Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) Group’s direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service was commercially launched , July 14, which coincides with the 63rd birthday of its chief Manuel V. Pangilinan.

They will have three High Definition channels but very expensive. Their regular 20 channels costs 390 per month the same as Dream.
